This was a self initiated project where I wanted to make both an illustration and typeface using only one very basic building block. The building element is an illustration motif I have seen used by many hand-illustrators as a textural element, and I wanted to experiment with it. The illustration is of an owl and the text is an old owl proverb.

The typeface is somewhat reminiscent of the '68 mexican olympic typeface.
