Skinfaxi is a yearly book published by the Reykjavík Junior College, which annually commissions students from the Iceland Academy of the Arts to design it. The project was a collaboration with Sveinn Davíðsson and Jónas Valtýsson. Each of us made 2-3 display typefaces for the project and co-art-directed, designed and photographed interviews and fashion editorials.
The project was experimental in nature, as we decided to make the whole thing in duotone process black and pantone gold, photographs and everything, without knowing exactly how the end result would look like. This had not been done in such a degree before in Iceland.
The title of the book was die cut through the cover, which also had never been done in this country before. The result was refreshing in its 'duotony' and was remarkably shiny.

It featured interviews with revered Icelanders, such as the one-time bishop of the country, as well as fashion editorials, art directed by us.
